Put the ‘Pub’ in Public Garden
Wines from Bordeaux come to Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit.
"A wine without a soul is just a beverage." Why not take a wine taster's virtual tour of France, with a special stop in Bordeaux, at Reeves-Reed Arboretum's Put the 'Pub' in Public Garden Wine Tasting?
On Friday, April 7 from 9 p.m., "walk" through the hills of the French countryside while sampling wines from the lovely artisanal boutique vineyard, Chateau Couchebout. Nestled in the southwest corner of France and set amongst 20 acres of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Sauvignon Blanc, the wines at this vineyard are grown, harvested and bottled, by hand, in small batches on the property, insuring beautiful density, delicate perfumes, silky soft tannins and balance. This attention to detail and quality is rivaled by none.
The wines from famed Chateau Couchebout, paired with a selection of fine cheeses and authentic French charcuterie and bread, will make this an evening not to be missed!
The wine tasting is $50 for RRA members ($65 for non-members).
