One of the most eclectic craft fairs comes to Brooklyn May 20-22

Where else, other than the Renegade Craft Fair could you find a dinosaur vase and a porcelain animal skull? As the largest independent craft fair in the world, the event attracts the best (and most unusual) goods from the indie art scene. From May 20-22, the Renegade Craft Fair will come to the Brooklyn Convention Center. This year, over 225 artisan businesses will showcase their work to wholesale buyers on May 20 from 12-7pm and the general public on May 21-22 from 11am – 6pm.

The Fair’s offbeat offerings range from home décor and furniture to apothecary and specialty items. Artisan highlights include Brooklyn-based Alchemy Holistics all-natural skincare line, 8.6.4. minimalist jewelry and leather products, and Woven Craft wall art and weaving tools. Attendees can also expect hands-on workshops like a woodcutting workshop by Woodcut Maps, freebee opportunities, local food and drink items, and music from DJ Sugartown Industries.
